I am still determined to be cheerful and happy, in whatever situation I may be; for I have also learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.”
– Martha Washington

It was my first time to the FAFA Market and was looking forward to it. Ann, (KikoRomeo) invited me to Junipers Kitchen where it all happens. The market is a mixture of Live Music, Junipers fashion food demonstrations,  shopping of high quality fashion & lifestyle products #madeinkenya and fresh organic produce from Organic Farmers Market. It was my first time to the Market and was looking forward to it.

As I moved around the vendors I stumbled upon this young man displaying amazing sweatshirts and shirts. Who took me through his brand ÉLI. ”At Eli we design urban streetwear with an African feel. We work with the rarest materials from all around the world. Senegal, Burundi, to the Netherlands and back to get the tailor made here in Kenya.” says George Njenga a 20 year old fashion designer currently taking a break from school to pursue this line.
